Our Health Guarantee

At Woodland Canines, the health and well-being of our puppies always come first. We’re committed to raising strong, happy, and healthy companions, and we proudly stand behind every puppy that leaves our home.

Each of our puppies comes from genetically tested and OFA-certified parents, ensuring the best possible start in life. Before going home, every puppy receives a full veterinary checkup, up-to-date vaccinations, and a detailed health record.

Our Health Guarantee provides peace of mind to our families by covering congenital or hereditary conditions outlined in our contract. We believe that open communication and responsible breeding practices build trust and long-lasting relationships with our puppy families.

When you bring home a Woodland Canines puppy, you can feel confident knowing your new companion was raised with integrity, love, and a strong foundation for a healthy, happy life.

Our Commitment to Your Puppy’s Well-Being

At Woodland Canines, we take pride in raising healthy, happy puppies and want every family to feel confident bringing their new companion home.

Your puppy is guaranteed to be in good health at the time of sale. The purchaser is provided a 7-day incubation health benefit, which covers concerns determined to have been present before the puppy left our care. This coverage applies only when both breeder-approved veterinary sources are used, regardless of distance.

Please note that our guarantee does not cover common and easily treatable conditions such as coccidiosis, giardia, or other intestinal parasites, as all puppies receive thorough and preventive treatments before going home. If follow-up treatment is needed, Woodland Canines may assist with reasonable medication costs.

Your puppy is also covered by a 2-year limited warranty for life-threatening congenital conditions that would result in death. In such cases, a replacement puppy will be offered. No cash refunds are provided.

All requests for compensation must be supported by a complete veterinary report showing that the issue was incubating prior to pickup. Woodland Canines reserves the right to request a second opinion from a veterinarian of our choice, at our expense. Failure to comply with this request may result in denial of compensation.

This guarantee does not apply to accidents, injuries, neglect, improper care, or failure to follow the breeder’s health and feeding recommendations. Once the puppy leaves our premises, Woodland Canines is not responsible for parasites, fleas, ticks, or similar post-purchase issues.

Please limit your puppy’s exposure to unfamiliar pets and environments until their vaccination series is complete. Breeder responsibility is limited to incubating or congenital conditions only.

Purchasers agree to provide proper veterinary care, nutrition, exercise, grooming, socialization, and love. Woodland Canines is not responsible for breeding activities and does not guarantee breeding quality.

Above all, remember your new puppy is a baby, one that needs plenty of rest, good food, and gentle care as they adjust to their new surroundings. If you have any concerns or questions, please reach out. We’re always here to help you and your puppy thrive.
